Why do we wash our hands? To keep our bodies healthy. To prevent the spread of germs.

When do we wash our hands? After going to the bathroom. Before eating. After coughing, sneezing, or blowing your nose. After playing with pets or touching animals.

Tips to washing your hands correctly… Turn on the sink. Use warm water and soap. Rub your hands together to make it bubble. Wash both the palms and backs of your hands.

….. More Tips Get rid of any dirt under your nails and in between your fingers. This should take the length of time it takes to sing the ABC’s. Rinse your hands and dry them under a hand dryer. Rinse your hands and dry them under a hand dryer.

Now let’s have some fun….. Turn to your shoulder partner. Create your own song about washing your hands. You have 2 minutes….ready….GO!
