Systematic Improvement Matrix Describe goal or initiative Successes to date? What needs improvement? How can we systematically improve? How can ICT help? 1) Parents need to be aware of hmwk. Students need to complete hmwk. Teachers print out hmwk for 1 st graders to bring home. Parents don’t get hmwk or don’t understand English. Parent meeting to brainstorm solution. Translate hmwk using parent volunteers. Track student hmwk completion. Blogs and SMS can be used to communicate hmwk in English and Arabic. Resources for parents can be posted online. 2) Improve student nutrition.
