Hands with Text Project Planning

Day 1: Composition 1.Define composition 2.Define radial balance 3.Create 3 thumbnails Example: Day 2: Draw a large detailed sketch for your final piece. Example:

Day 3: Media Exploration Research two color pencil techniques. Include examples and step by step instructions in your workbook for future reference. Select colors for “Hands with Text” add to Sketch!

Background: Area of an artwork that is furthest away from the viewer. Independent work: 1.Tape hands to back of composition 2.Trace all hands within your composition lightly in PENCIL 3.Outline all contour lines with black marker 4.Finalize sketch and show Ms. Burgher 5.LIGHTLY draw in background 6.Color with color pencils using techniques Background expectations: Include your name (fonts?) Represent you Depict realistic subject matter, Design, Pattern etc. Saturated color Exceptional use of color pencil techniques
