EXIT TICKET FROM YESTERDAY’S SBAC PRACTICE TEST:  “I learned that to find the central point is like finding the theme and main idea”  “I will remember that some of the problems you bubble in sometimes there are two or more answers.”  “I don’t really know what the definition for inference.”  “I learned that information and evidence is key when writing summaries.”  “I learned that highlighting is important.”  “I will remember to write a good summary the most.”  “It’s important to check the volume is plugged in before you start the test.”  “I will remember that in some of the questions there are more than one answer.”

 Remember to check the sound before you open the testing browser.  During the test move your mouse every so often.  Try not to pause.

PT – PERFORMANCE TASK – 7 TH GRADE  There is a classroom activity the day before.  The actual test could be reading 2-3 pieces of text or watching videos.  There could be 4 practice test questions and an essay prompt for the ELA SBAC Performance Task (PT)Test.  There is only one practice PT online and it is expository.  Your prompt could be expository, narrative, argumentative.  This will be after Spring Break. The test is not timed.  Remember to plan before you write.  Remember to proofread even when you think you are done.  Take a deep breath, clear your mind, and do your best.
