About 60% of the class time is spent doing lab experiments. We learn about natural science which includes plants and animal cells as well as various ecosystems.,genes and DNA. Most 7th graders take Math 7 or Math 7 Honors both of these courses prepare you for Algebra 1. The Math 7 honors curriculum is the same as taking Math 8 honors. There is a select number of students who take Algebra 1 Honors (those decisions will be made in the summer) In math this year you will study the following areas: Number and Number Sense Computation and Estimation Geometry and Measurement Probability and Statistics Patterns, Functions, and Algebra Most 7th graders will be prepared to take Algebra 1 in 8th grade.
