For a better built environment 3 Mandate Established by an Act of Parliament (Act 43 of 2000) Act became operational in September 2001, after establishment of six built environment councils for: Architects, Engineers, Landscape Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Project and Construction Managers and Property Valuers. To implement government’s strategy for the transformation of the Built Environment Professions.
