PRad Recent Achievements 1)PRad Implementation (“Position”) document developed and submitted to Jlab. 2)Jlab’s Director Office scheduling review passed on March 21, 2014: a)Installation of experiment in January, 2015: b)Request for 15 days of engineering run accepted. 3)All target parts delivered to Jlab. 4)Engineering design for the Vacuum box is close to finish. 5)Coordinate detector (GEM) finalized, construction started. 6)Independent event generators for ep and ee with rad corrections developed and ready to use. 7)PAC41 categorized PRad as an “High Impact” experiment.

Tasks for PRad (for the next 6 months) 4)Construct and test GEM detectors, install on the front of HyCal 2)Prepare HyCal for the experiment: a)move HyCal and transporter parts into Hall B b)start HyCal refurbishment work c)restart the transporter’s motion system in EPICS 5)Re-assemble the PRimEx FASTBUS-based analog and trigger electronics. 3)Construct the Vacuum box with the window and exit pipe 1)Construct the gas flow Target, install in Hall B beam line. 6)Reconstruct the PrimEx FASTBUS-based DAQ system. 7)Identify PrimEx calibration and monitoring package, reinstall it with new DAQ. 8)Prepare the Tagger for the experiment. 9)Increase the collaboration size (new people, new groups)
