Vocabulary-Level B  1 st assignment due Friday!   Students will have a week to complete the exercises.  Assessment will be at the end of two week period.

Writing  Writing assignments  Journals  Essays-Checklist and Rubric will be given  GA Milestones-Single paragraph, multi- paragraph and full essay responses We need to practice referring to the text and providing specific examples as support.  Portfolios-Collection of tests and essays to be used for placement in high school in January.

How can I help my student be successful?  Access Synergy weekly to maintain progress  Encourage participation in class  Ask about homework!  Provide a flash drive.
