What VR Worx Does Single Program for 360º creation Utilizes Quicktime VR technology Can create: Panoramic images Panoramic movies Object movies Multi-node scenes Integrate non-interactive elements

Start Screen

Panorama Import, stitch, and blend images into a panoramic file Create hotspots to link to additional files or websites Create interactive movies or flat stills

Panorama – Setup Tab

Source Format – Multiple images to compile from multiple photos or single panorama for an already created panoramic picture Node Sweep – distance the panorama can cover horizontally Max Frame – how many pictures are used to compile panorama Lens Params – set to lens settings of camera Image Size – Movie’s resolution

Panorama – Acquire Tab

Multiple/Single – Browse to select images for panorama Rotate – Rotate pictures to view properly Reverse – Flips the order the pictures are displayed Clear – Start fresh

Panorama – Multiple

Panorama – Stitch Tab

Tolerance – Set how far the program can shift images vertically and horizontally to overlap Build – Generates stitched image Preview – Click on individual images to shift them manually. Necessary for fine-tuning

Panorama – Blend Tab

Build – Generates blended image Resize – Alter dimensions Options – Set blend level. Higher level creates softer edges between overlaps, but can result in quality loss Export – Under the file menu, the image can be exported to any supported image types

Panorama – Hot Spots Tab

Draw shapes to create hotspots Double click on created hotspot to edit options Kind – Select type. Relevant tabs become accessible depending upon choice. Only use these if it will NOT be used in a multi-node scene

Panorama – Compose Tab Generate panorama movie Set compression settings to your liking Almost done now…

Constraints Set initial view position and zoom levels Modify these in the preview then click set Interaction – modify view settings Resize – final chance to resize movie Annotate – Set copyright information Export – save quicktime clip

Multi-node Scene Link files together for internal navigation Create seamless virtual walkthroughs

Multi-node Scene – Setup Tab

Size – Set the scene’s playback size Dimensions – Set the size of the work area Grid – Enable or disable the guide grids

Multi-node Scene – Background Tab

This tab creates a background guide for the placement of nodes Add – Set an image as the background Tools – Draw lines and shapes Colors – Set element’s colors

Multi-node Scene – Nodes Tab

Add – Browse to select media to place in scene Browse – Set hotspots on selected clip Tools – Devices to link together clips. Using browse auto-generates these links

Draw shapes to create hotspots Double click on created hotspot to edit options Kind – Select type. Relevant tabs become accessible depending upon choice. Link – used to reference other movie files Preview Tab – Set starting location. Necessary for smooth navigation between hotspots
