artisans and merchants—skilled workers and people who dealt in business Farmers and soldiers—along the banks of the Nile, fruits, dates, nuts, veggies, and a lot of cotton— used a shadaof—long pole with a bucket on one end and stone on other to lift water, soldiers often uneducated and untrained

slaves—people from other cultures who were captured or people sold into slavery

Clothing and Style men –hair short or shaved, robes for rich, no shirts & skirts women-rich shaved heads and wore wigs, dyed hair red or black, gold jewelry, cotton dresses, eye make-up—black and green

priests—shaved every third day—whole body tatoos were popular, perfumes and scents for men and women sandals or bare feet
