Survey Date: March – June 2015

All organizations with their IBCs registered with the Office for Biotechnology Activities (OBA)  The primary point of contact completed the survey  23% completed the survey (211 out of 912 organizations completed the survey)

The IBC Best Practices and 101 meeting will follow a format that has been tried and proven successful for the Animal Care and Use Community. The IACUC Administrative community has been meeting for the past ten years. There meetings have resulted in the establishment of the IACUC Administrators Association, and multiple template documents that are available for the IACUC Administrative community to share.

Agenda Topics: o The agenda will be developed based on the input of those completing the survey. o The meeting will include didactic sessions and attendee interactive discussions. o The meeting format will facilitate the sharing of ideas, document templates and experiences.
