Built on leading edge learning management system technology, PTC University provides customers with an on-line personalized portal to find and register for learning, track enrollments and transcripts, and participate in on-line communities, thus maximizing the overall educational experience. PTC University also enables managers to have a mechanism for tracking their company's investment and their team’s progress in PTC learning programs.” What is PTC University? © 2003 PTC 6 Instructor Responsibilities Attendance  Run “Class Sign-In Sheet” report (OPTIONAL)  Mark attendance in system on first day of class  Report unexpected students ASAP (before lunch on first day): Phone (get customer on phone with call center!) Alternatively, Sam Sanchez or Jan Bauer l Include all student info: First Name, Last Name, Address (IMPORTANT!), Fax, Phone,Company Name, and Company Address  Report no-shows using standard attendance function  Mark remaining days’ attendance: Each day as it comes All at once (on last day of class)

© 2003 PTC 7 Instructor Responsibilities (cont’d) Evaluations  Create New Evaluation 1. Name  – (e.g., Complex Milling – 1/5/03) 2. Questionnaire  External ILT (EN) 3. Send to current list of respondents and new learners UPON REGISTERING/ORDERING 4. Add respondents.

© 2003 PTC 8 Instructor Responsibilities (cont’d) Evaluations (cont’d)  Encourage students to complete evaluation 1. Learner will receive notification when evaluation is assigned. 2. Learner accesses evaluation through “My Evaluations” link on main page. 3. Learner must first accept or decline the evaluation. 4. After accepting, learner may elect to complete the evaluation anonymously. 5. Preferably, have learner complete the evaluation on last day of class. Otherwise, have him/her complete it when he/she regains internet access.
