Presentation transcript:

April 2012 Updates: School Holidays – artistic adventures

The girls decorated an Easter card for Dorothea together

When the card was finished, we slipped it into the chocolate box

I found a cool craft kit that both girls enjoyed: They painted wind-up ducklings!

Both girls worked seriously for a long time, each on their own design

When the ducks dried up, we had a play and took out all the other wind up toys too

Another day we explored sticking dried pasta, chick peas and rice on paper with white glue.

We painted with golf balls and paint in containers and shoeboxes.

We explored paint with fingers and tools

A painting session turned into a printmaking experiment...

We tried out a new swirl art device. It didn’t work 100% but it was an interesting experience for everyone.

The aim was the way and not the product; co-operation and experimentation with no clear goal or aim. It was a great success! In our next presentation: Some social life in the holidays
