 -Is also called E.R, is a membrane system of folded sacs. Interconnected channels that serves as the site for protein and lipid synthesis. The pleats and folds of the E.R provide a large amount of surface area where cellular functions can take place(biologygmh.com).  -Notice the rough of the E.R appears to have bumps on it. These bumps will produce protein for export to other cells. But the E.R without bumps is called smooth endoplasmic reticulum(smooth E.R in the liver detoxifies harmful substances).  - E.R are located around the nucleus.  - In a factory it would be a conveyor belt. To transport proteins manufactured by the ribosome's to the Golgi body.

 You can see the bumps on the E.R which produce proteins as the smooth does not.  -Most common  In animal cells.

 -Chloroplasts are organelles. They capture light energy through a process called photosynthesis. Examine the photo and notice that inside the inner membrane are many small, disk shaped compartments called “THYLAKOIDS”. It is here that the energy from sunlight is trapped by a pigment called Chlorophyll. Chlorophyll gives leaves and stems their green color. Chloroplasts belong to a group of plant organelles called plastids some of which are used for storage.  - The closest analogy to  Chloroplasts is a factory  With 2 crews 1 making  Batteries 2 making  Delivery trucks.  Its only found in plant  Cells.

 This leaf shows really well what and how and vaguely what a chloroplasts do.
