 As recommended by GEAC and approved by College Senate  Three-year schedule for each SLO area, with all assessment conducted in spring  Changes in assessment planning/reporting form to emphasize “assessment for improvement”  Second administration of CLA to assess Critical Thinking outcomes in  Role of OIAE  Random selection of courses in fall for subsequent spring semester  Notification of faculty by with forms attached, copied to chairs

 Dedication of roundtables at Life of the Mind to GE assessments conducted in previous year (this year: AA2, AH2, BC2, OS2, WS2)  GEAC invitations to all faculty who taught in SLO areas during preceding spring  Provision of summary of results and “closing the loop” comments to attendees

 Outcomes  Provost’s memo at beginning of Fall 2011 semester  Planned transition to on-line reporting for Spring 2012  Compliance  Notification to provost and deans  Expectations faculty will administer assessment in subsequent fall semester (if teaching a relevant course)
