Chinese Landmarks By Jackson McDonald

Introduction Do you know all the big landmarks in China? There’s the great wall, Mount Everest, the forbidden city and much more. Lets get to it.

Great Wall The Great Wall is the most famous landmark in China. It was built by the Qin dynasty, 500 years BC. It was built to block intruders from Mongol. It is 4,000 miles long, 50 feet tall and 30 feet wide. The Great Wall is great!

Mount Everest It’s nearly 30,000 feet, it’s the tallest mountain in the word. Can you guess what it is? It’s M.T Everest. It is so hard to reach the top you have to wear a winter coat and bring oxygen. It could take you a week to climb to the top.

Forbidden City The Forbidden City was home to 2 dynasties, the Ming and Qin. It is more then 700 square feet, huge right? Many people go to see it.
