Management, Security, and Destruction of Weapon Stockpiles February 2013 Conduct a Symposium for Stockpile Management and Destruction of Ammunition in poor condition to discuss procedures, compile management models and security of stockpiles of weapons used by the member states, and maintain a list of best practices for the management and security of stockpiles of weapons in the hemisphere to develop the Manual in coordination with CIFTA / OAS NLT May 2013 In coordination with CIFTA, develop a Procedural Manual on the protection of weapons stockpiles and on standard operational procedures for the safe destruction of surplus firearms, ammunition, and explosives. Humanitarian Assistance in the Case of Disasters March 2013 Develop a working group with representatives of regional and sub regional military organizations that have participated in the 2012 past exercises, in order to provide feedback for the IADB Disaster Plan and conduct the IADB’s "Humanitarian Assistance III" exercise.
