But if we can understand the risks and the benefits we can build our confidence in new medical treatments. Drugs can have side effects. Surgery will have associated risks.
If we live in a healthy environment then we are more likely to be healthy ourselves. So we need to measure the environmental effects of human activity and check what we are doing to our ecosystems. But in our drive for more and more energy are we affecting the environment we live in?
