Landscape: Trees Notes that can help you draw from nature

Value Scale: Prepare the sky Create a 5 step value scale Continuous tone is called a gradient Use the side of your pencil to create a gradient in the sky from a 4 value to a 0 Use a paper towel to blend the sky into the paper Use an eraser in a circular motion to erase out the clouds.
