Pool Schedule Delay
Pool Delays Pool phase began as scheduled on June 1 st. Removal of plaster revealed concrete degradation of the shell. Walls have deteriorated in multiple areas. Rebar inside the walls have rusted. Existing wall has been determined to be unfit. N0 indication of this condition was evident prior to removal of the plaster coat.
Findings Re-plastering began our final phase of renovations. Project was proceeding on schedule with best efforts put forth to re-open July 1 st. Structural Engineer, Soil testing agency, and Pool Builder were consulted for opinions and recommendations. Although this delay is unavoidable, we are working diligently to finalize the change in scope and deliver an exceptional amenity for our residents and guests.
About Gunite A mixture of cement, sand, and water applied through a pressure hose, producing a dense hard layer of concrete. It is mixed on site and sprayed into a form creating a pool shell. Gunite provides structural stability and is the base to which plaster is applied.

Next Steps Construction plans are now being developed. Permit for constructing new pool is required. Other renovation work is near completion. Build new pool. Reopen indoor pool as soon as possible.
