Goals and Expectations for Behavior Rockfield Elementary

Early Morning Arrival Goal: Students will enter Rockfield with a positive attitude and be provided a safe environment to prepare for a successful day at Rockfield Elementary School. Students will demonstrate expectations of “ROCKS”.

Early Morning Arrival Expectations: 1. I will enter Rockfield at a Level 2 voice. 2. I will go straight to my assigned area in the gym. 3. I will remain seated in my line using a Level 2 voice. 4. I will face the speaker for Morning Meeting with a Level 0 voice. Student Workers: 1. I will sign out for work no earlier than 7:45 and return to the gym by 8: I will pick up my ID badge and wear it to work and return it to the gym. 1. I will enter Rockfield at a Level 2 voice. 2. Breakfast Goal: The cafeteria will be a safe, pleasant environment where students can eat and socialize with friends in a positive way.

Breakfast Expectations: 1. I will go directly to the breakfast line after putting my backpack down. 2. I will use a Level 2 voice when talking to the people close to me at my table. 3. I will raise my hand when I need help. 4. I will use good manners and clean up after myself. 5. I will return to my line. 1. Hallway Goal: The hallways of Rockfield Elementary will be a safe and quiet environment where people interact with courtesy and respect.

Hallway Expectations: 1. I will walk on the right side of the hallway. 2. I will stay 1 block away from the wall. 3. I will keep my hands in front of me or behind my back. 4. I will keep my eyes facing the front. 5. I will be at a Level 0 unless speaking to an adult. 6. I will walk safely. 1. I will walk on the right side of the hallway. 2. I will stand in a line at my exit and wait for a teacher to lead me out. Car Riders: 1. I will wait in the gym at a Level 0 with my backpack closed until my name is called. 2. I will wait in my designated square until my vehicle comes to a complete stop. 1. I will wait quietly in my classroom for my dismissal procedure. 2. I will walk to the appropriate exit location at Level 2 or below. 3. I will stand in a line at my exit and wait for a teacher to lead me out. Car Riders: 1. I will keep hands, feet, and objects to myself and will remain seated. I will use appropriate voice levels and will be at a Level 0 when bus stops. I will be ready to get on and off the bus promptly.
