 www. Apples4theteacher.com 

 The website provides educational resources for teachers and kids Pre-K through grade 6.  This site provides learning interactive games, quizzes, and worksheet generator tools by subject (creative arts, foreign languages, language arts, math, science, social studies), articles, literacy coloring pages and more.creative artsforeign languageslanguage artsmathsciencesocial studies articlesliteracy coloring pages  The website is dedicated to helping teachers use the Internet to be able to teach their students both efficiently and accurately in learning their multiplication times tables, as well as other levels of mathematics.  The site contains all types of different math activities to keep students engaged in learning math throughout the school year and teaching other types of math such as money, measurement, and geometry.

 The flash card game allows students to play a variety of games and activities using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.  The website has different levels of difficulty for when they are ready to move on to the next levels.  The flash card game also lets the students see their progress on how well they did and how many they got correct or incorrect. It shows them accuracy and how quickly the students answered the math problem.  At any time, the student can stop the game and move on to another difficulty level or a different math factor, other than multiplication. It can also add players, so class mates can play against each other and see how well each other has done.

 I would use this website to help my students learn multiplication facts, as well as other math functions in my 3 rd grade math classroom.  I would have my students work on this website at home on their own to see the score they receive individually, and then as a class, could do this activity at the beginning of class to see how well they are learning the times tables and see what the students score on the flash card game as a class.  I feel that choosing the flash cards multiplication activity is a way to help my students learn the lesson beforehand at home, may better them in understanding and being able to remember their times tables quicker and more efficiently.

 I think this website would help teachers use the Internet efficiently in their classrooms to explain math factors to their students.  I also think it would help them learn how to use applications on the Internet and further be able to incorporate things like web activities into their curriculums throughout the school year.  Within this website, there are also teacher tools to offer you and your class resources to reinforce the curriculum and to integrate technology into the classroom.  This online practice model can show both teachers and students of a way to learn mathematics with more fun and really engages the students in learning math factors
