Max Occupied Bandwidth Test  The existing test is defined for single-carrier operation only. The test is extended to include multi-carrier operation  In multi-carrier operation, the occupied bandwidth is defined as the frequency range, whereby the power of emissions averaged over the frequency above the edge frequency of the rightmost carrier and under the edge frequency of the leftmost carrier are 0.5% each of the total radiation power of all modulated carriers.  The test ensures that the occupied bandwidth does not exceed limits specified for adjacent carriers as well as a carrier pair at maximum separation 1/12/2016 QUALCOMM Confidential and Proprietary 4

Max Occupied Bandwidth 1/12/2016QUALCOMM Confidential and Proprietary 5

Minimum Standard 1/12/2016 QUALCOMM Proprietary In the multiple carrier transmission, the occupied bandwidth for each carrier still remains within 1.48 MHz. Based on this assumption, the following minimum standards are defined. For the test with two reverse CDMA channels at maximum frequency separation, the occupied bandwidth shall not exceed MaxReverseLinkBandwidth × MHz. For the test with two or more adjacent reverse CDMA channels, the occupied bandwidth shall not exceed (N-1) × M MHz where N is the number of reverse CDMA channels and M is the minimum carrier spacing used in a Band Class.

Correction to transmitter spurious emission limits  The existing transmitter spurious emission limits for Test 2 in multi-carrier transmission (Table of C.S0033-B) has overlooked ITU Category B limit. This is inconsistent with Test 1 (Table ) and Test 3 (Table ).  We propose to amend Table to include ITU Category B limit. For Test 2, ITU Category B limit is intended to apply only to Band Classes 6 and 8. 1/12/2016 QUALCOMM Confidential and Proprietary 7

Correction to transmitter spurious emission limits (cont.) 1/12/2016QUALCOMM Confidential and Proprietary 8 For |  f| Within the Range Emission Limit 1.25 MHz to 2.25 MHz6 dBm / 1 MHz 2.25 MHz to 3.5×Ns MHz -13 dBm / 1 MHz > 3.5×Ns MHz (ITU Category B) -36 dBm / 1 kHz; 9 kHz < f < 150 kHz -36 dBm / 10 kHz; 150 kHz < f < 30 MHz -36 dBm / 100 KHz; 30 MHz < f < 1 GHz -30 dBm / 1 MHz; 1 GHz < f < GHz Note: All frequencies in the measurement bandwidth shall satisfy the restrictions on |  f| where  f where  f is measured as the frequency offset from the center frequency of each channel. Except for ITU Category B, emission Limits shall apply between the carriers when MaxReverseLinkBandwidth × ≥ 4  1.25 MHz. Ns = MaxReverseLinkBandwidth× ITU Category B limit is intended to apply only to Band Classes 6 and 8. For |  f| Within the Range Emission Limit 1.25 MHz to 2.25 MHz6 dBm / 1 MHz > 2.25 MHz-13 dBm / 1 MHz Note: All frequencies in the measurement bandwidth shall satisfy the restrictions on |  f| where  f where  f is measured as the frequency offset from the center frequency of each channel.
