Sector-wise details

Grants for PRIs (Rs in crores) Total General Basic Grant Performance Grant Total Status:  An amount of ` cr ( ` cr + ` 5.47 cr) has been released by GoI during Full amount released to Department. Action required:  Though UC has been submitted, payment of penal interest of Rs.1.88 lakhs to PRIs for delay of 21 days in release of the fund and submission of Consolidated UC is pending.  Action on conditionalities for release of Performance Grant.

Grants for ADC (Rs in crores) General Basic Grant Performance Grant Total Status:  An amount of ` 9.06 cr ( ` 4.58 cr + ` 4.48 cr) has been released by GoI during Full amount released to Department.  UC submitted and sent to Finance Ministry on Action required: Action on conditionalities for release of Performance Grant.

Grants for ULBs (Rs in crores) General Basic Grant Performance Grant Total Status:  An amount of ` 7.53 cr ( ` 3.81 cr + ` 3.72 cr) has been released by GoI during Full amount has been released to Department. Action required:  UC awaited. FD has written to MAHUD to intimate if there was any delay in release of fund to ULBs. No response. Consolidated UC showing payment of penal interest for the no. of days of delay in release to the ULBs may be submitted.  Action on conditionalities for release of Performance Grant.

SPECIAL AREAS GRANTS (FOR AREAS OUTSIDE THE PURVIEW OF PART-IX AND IX A OF THE CONSTITUTION) ( ` in crores) Total General Basic Grant Performance Grant Total Status:  An amount of ` 1.78 cr (` 0.90 cr + ` 0.88 cr) has been released by GoI during Full amount has been released to Department.  UC submitted recently. Proposal has been sent to GOI on 15 th March Action required:  Action on conditionalities for release of Performance Grant.

State Disaster Response Fund (Rs in crores) Total Central share State’s share Total Status:  1 st installment for (Rs cr) released by GoI. Currently, parked in MH-8121-General & Reserve Fund - SDRF.  2 nd installment for (Rs.3.25 cr) has also been released by GoI. FD has concurred to E/S subject to deposit to MH-8121-General & Reserve Fund - SDRF.  A meeting was held on with officials from AG office and Relief Department to sort out issues connected with accounting of expenditures under SDRF. Relief Department was to take necessary action based on the discussions in the meeting.

Grants for Capacity Building for Disaster Relief (Rs. in cr) Total Capacity Building Status:  Entire amount for has been released to Relief & DM Department. Action:  Submission of UC for

UID Grants (Rs Rs lakhs p.a) Status & issues requiring action:  1 st installment of Rs lakhs for released by GoI and State FD during  UC submitted for Rs lakhs. UC for balance awaited.  Clarification has been sought from the MoF on UID grants in the light of the GoI’s decision that enrolment/ biometric collection of citizens in the State would be carried out under National Population Register (NPR) of the Registrar General of India.

Elementary Education Grant (Rs Rs crores per annum) Status:  Rs cr for released by GoI and State FD.  As per guideline, increase in BE over RE should be at least 8%. This criteria will be fulfilled only after RE Action:  UC still awaited.

Forest Grants (Rs in crores) Total Status:  allocation fully released by GoI.  Entire allocation for has been released to the Department. Action:  No pending action

IMPROVING JUSTICE DELIVERY (Rs crores ) Status: Full amount for has been released by GOI. An amount of Rs.2.03cr lying in MH Action required: Review Action Plan based on the revised guidelines issued by the Ministry of Law & Justice. Drawal from MH-8449 and submission of UC. Discussed with MoF/Ministry of Law & Justice. Details need to be sorted out between these two Ministries.

DISTRICT INNOVATION FUND (Rs crores ) Status:  1 st installment of Rs.4.50 cr has been released by GoI.  FD has authorized the amount and has concurred to E/S on

IMPROVING STATISTICAL SYSTEMS (Rs Rs. 1.8 crores) Status:  As per the Guidelines, expenditure plan has been submitted and approved by GoI.  GoI has released an amount of Rs. 1.8 cr for The amount has been authorized by FD.  FD has also concurred to E/S on

DATABASE FOR GOVT. EMPLOYEES AND PENSIONERS ( Rs crores) Status:  Rs. 2.5 cr being 1 st installment has been released by GoI.  Out of this, an amount of Rs lakhs deposited with NIC for implementation of BEAMS.  Balance of Rs cr is lying in MH  Consolidated DPR has been sent to MoF.  Drawal permission has been issued for an amount of Rs.76 lakhs for deposit to NIC (for s/w development of CMIS).

MAINTENANCE OF ROADS AND BRIDGES (Rs in crores) Total Status:  Full amount for has been released by GoI and authorised by FD.  As proposed by Works Department, an amount of Rs.812 lakhs has been released so far. Out of 812 lakhs, Rs 608 lakhs was released on
