We want to reach people for Jesus and help his followers grow to be like him.
God has called us to be a church that: Knows its purpose: To grow in our love for Jesus, our love for each other, and for those who don’t yet know Jesus as Lord. We want to be a church that is big and small at the same time: with people relating in small groups as well as being part of the larger congregation That lives out its belief in all-member ministry: recognizing that everyone has God-given gifts and encouraging their use. That is sensitive to the needs of people with no previous church experience: so we present the timeless truths of God’s word in an understandable way. That is a resource for others: being “stewards”, and not “owners”, of what God has given us.

Isaiah 61:1-4 The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the LORD's favour and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion- to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendour. They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations.
