What are the different types of computers? I.Mainframe II. Microcomputer III.Mainframe Computer

Mainframe Computers Mainframe computers (usually referred to as “Big Iron”) are powerful computers used mostly by corporate and organizations of critical applications, data processing, etc. Mainframe computers run for years without interruptions.

Microcomputers A microcomputer is a computer with a microprocessor as its central processing unit. They are physically small compared to mainframe and microcomputers.

Minicomputer A minicomputer is a class of multi-user computers that lies in middle range of computer spectrum, in between the largest multi-user systems (mainframe computers) and the smallest single user systems (microcomputers/ personal computer)
