 E-safety is when you are safe on the internet  E-safety concerns safeguarding children and young people in the digital world.  e-Safety emphasises learning to understand and use new technologies in a positive way.  e-Safety is less about restriction and more about education about the risks as well as the benefits so we can feel confident online.  e-Safety is concerned with supporting children and young people to develop safer online behaviours both in and out of school.

 Do people know your password ?  Do you chat to strangers ?  Have you ever given out your bank details ?  Have you ever put indecent pictures ?

 Do not give your password, phone number, etc to anybody you do not know  Do not give out your bank  Check your profile and make sure it doesn’t include any personal information  Get away from an unpleasant situation in a chartroom by logging out
