Overview Microsoft Exchange/Outlook Migration not under consideration – GW doesn’t play nice with others Groupwise – leave server up for period of time/read only – no send/receive addresses – will be changed a ‘mail forwarding’ script will be setup to . Address Books – personal address books will need to be saved by users (instructions will be sent out); general district address book will come from Active Directory accounts

Active Directory is: a database that contains configuration information, authentication requests, and information about all of the objects on the network. allows you to efficiently manage users, computers, groups, printers, applications, and other directory- enabled objects from one secure, centralized location everything will be connected to Active Directory – “single sign-on” everything
