A Graphic Novel Manuscript By Doug Kissock Inspired By Baroness Orczy’s Classic Novel…

Armed with an arsenal of supercool gadgets, an English Lord becomes a Ninja as he battles to rescue the woman he loves, save the innocent from the guillotine and solve a brutal murder.

The Scarlet Pimpernel was the first of a new archetype of heroes — the hidden hero — who inspired the creation of such immortal comic book and movie superstars as Zorro, The Lone Ranger, Batman and Superman.

The Scarlet Pimpernel has faded into obscurity recently as audiences in the tired, low-tech, 20 th century enthusiastically reached out to the shiny, new, high-tech, 21 st century… But we’re here to change all that and give this charismatic dude a new lease of life and the chance to go, entertain — and WOW! — a whole new audience!

And the high-tech dichotomy? Well who says they couldn’t have their own kinda cool, steampunk, ‘high-tech’ style back in the 1790s? Why can’t The Pimpernel fly like Iron Man? Why can’t he disappear into the night — and re-appear at will — like Batman? And why can’t he dodge bullets like Spiderman? As of right now, he can! Which is why he’s still the original hidden hero in a world of derivatives…

Want to know more? Want to read the script? Want to plunge into the dynamic images it’ll create in your mind’s eye? Then please contact Doug’s manager: Jeff Ross at Jeff Ross Entertainment… …either by at or by ‘phone on to be part of re-energizing The Pimpernel and giving a whole new generation of comic book fans the chance to share his adventures and glory!
