Where is it Located? The river is located in Worth County, GA. The river starts in Georgia and drains in Florida.

Environmental Issues Habitat Degradation Effects this river. This causes the loss of tree cover which makes temperatures rise in the river, affecting the plants and animals that live here.

Physical Facts This river is 6,330 sq. miles 1,460 sq. miles of it are in Georgia.

Why is this River Important? It has many threatened animals living in it’s environment. It is also a source for draining when Lake Lamonia floods.
