What do they look like? Barn owls have a large heart shaped face that is completely white, black eyes and very long wings.

What do they eat? Barn owls eat small mammals like mice which means they are carnivores.

Vertebrate or Invertebrate? Barn owls are vertebrates so they have a backbone.

Where do they live? Barn owls live in south and north America, Africa, Australia, some countries in Asia and many countries in Europe including Ireland.

How long do they live? Barn owls that live in the wild would live up to about 4 years, while the ones in captivity can live up to more than 20 years.

Dangers in their life? Dangers in a barn owls life are the common racoon, hawks and many barn owls eat poison farmers put down.

How do they reproduce? Barn owls lay eggs.
