Background of Alex Thoms! Led the SkillsUSA club ( A leadership and skill developing club for tech students) for 2 years. Not necessarily intelligent, but has an obligation to study and execute what is right! (EX. Has a 3.5 GPA and a 95% or better in Street Law) Would provide the people with a president and Command in Chief that will try his best and provide citizens with what is best while providing them with what they want!

Proposal on Crime and Violence! “He who does not prevent a crime when he can, encourages it.” Crime is difficult to manage, but to do nothing will only allow more crime to be happen. We should stand up and try everything possible to prevent it. Convicted criminals shall be punished to the fullest extent of the law. Any convicted person shall be given 1 trial. Unlimited appeals.

Proposal on Health Care! "Keeping America competitive requires affordable health care. Our government has a responsibility to provide health care for the poor and the elderly, and we are meeting that responsibility. For all Americans,... we must confront the rising cost of care, strengthen the doctor-patient relationship, and help people afford the insurance coverage they need." President George W. Bush January 31, 2006 The Futurist party agrees that the health care plans now are at ridiculous prices that elderly and people that are in poverty can not afford. Our Party believes that free health care should be given to such people without second thought. As president Alex Thoms will do the following: Will allow for people 70 years and older to have free health care. Discount health care will be given to persons and families that are in the poverty threshold. No one will be denied health care. Health care premiums will decrease up to 25 % of its current price.

Proposal on Foreign Policy “ American foreign policy must be more than the management of crisis. It must have a great and guiding goal: to turn this time of American influence into generations of democratic peace. “ –George W. Bush Currently our foreign policy helps just about every country in the world, but they are becoming more reliable on the US. Our party agrees with this quote. Our foreign policy is strong, but we should try to form more alliances to prevent such things as attacks and genocide. Will try to maintain peaceful relations with all countries. Will respond with overwhelming force if attacked. If allies are attacked will attack with overwhelming force. Will have a zero tolerance on hunger. Will strive to strengthen relationships with countries We will also intervene on such things as genocide. We will protect human rights at all cost!!!!!!

Proposal on American and Human and Civil Rights. “ Don't let Patriot Act expire-terrorist threat won't.” – George W. Bush We should always protect our American and most certainly our human rights. The Terrorist will try everything possible to stop what human rights we do have. The Futurist party completely agrees with this quote. Our proposals are: Will have all rights they have now and some new ones also. Freedom of speech will be wider but will still protect interests of all. Guns rights will be protected but crimes committed with them will be severely punished. Human rights will always be respected in our country no matter the cost.

Proposal on Economy “The natural effort of every individual to better his own condition is so powerful that it is alone, and without any assistance, not only capable of carrying on the society to wealth and prosperity, but of surmounting a hundred impertinent obstructions with which the folly of human laws too often encumbers its operations.” -- Adam Smith If our society doesn’t stop and think about the assistance that we need to provide for it, then it will fail. The Futurist party agrees with the above quote. We will do the following to help the economy for economic stability: Will raise minimum wage to $6.50 from $5.15 Possible increase on Taxes Create Organization for Stabilization of Economic Growth (OSEG) Find alternant fuel source to lower fuel costs and provide a demand for American made source of fuel. Create Organization for Small Businesses In Need (OSBIN)
