Objective: Students will evaluate sample student responses by analyzing the AP US History short answer prompt and primary source Drill: When is the APUSH exam? Is it 1 st or 2 nd that day? How is the test structured? How many multiple choice items? How many Short answer? What does the essay section look like?
Students will read the short answer prompt and anchor papers in order to identify short answer expectations.
Students will read the unscored responses and attempt to score them based on the rubric.
Students will complete a paragraph giving analysis and comparison on the different scores for the short answer questions.
