Peer Assessment Students internalize the characteristics of quality work by evaluating the work of their peers Must have a clear understanding of what they are to look for in their peers' work. Important to explain expectations clearly to them before they begin. There is a need for rubrics or checklists to guide their assessments Provides immediate detailed feedback Removes personal bias on controversial topics Peer & Self Evaluation
