New for Attendees Streamlined User Experience  Client automatically upgrades to the latest version when attendee joins a meeting.  Participants see tool bars relevant to their permissions and to the content being shared.  Help and how-to in the meeting environment.

New for Attendees Client Panes and Content Viewing Meeting Attendees control how they view meeting content and client panes.  Click a menu item, and drag the title bar to float the pane.  In full-screen view, only the content pane is displayed.

New for Attendees Feedback Presenter’s Feedback  From the Feedback menu in the upper right corner of the Meeting Client, click the appropriate option from the Feedback to Presenter list.

New for Attendees? Q&A and Raise Your Hand Use the Q&A menu to submit questions.  To ask a question, type question in the Q&A text box, and then click Ask.  Alternately, click the Raise your hand icon. The Presenter will initiate 1:1 chat.

New for Attendees Personal Recordings – PC or LM Service If enabled, personal recordings can be saved on a Live Meeting server (To LM Service) by the Presenter or on the Presenter or Attendee’s local computer (PC). No special hardware needed to create personal recordings.

New for Attendees Enhanced Recording Playback High Fidelity Recordings include meeting audio, webcam or panoramic video, and media content.  Viewers may select meeting elements to view.

New for Presenters Voice and Video Options  Presenter webcam or Microsoft Office RoundTable video switches to display the current speaker.  Integrated audio controls (available 1Q08) will allow participants to join the audio conference through “click to conference” functionality, which allows the system to call them on their personal telephone and places them directly into the conference. Additional audio controls such as mute, unmute, mute all, lock conference, and remove from meeting will all be available through the Live Meeting interface.

New for Presenters Interactive Tools New annotation tools include rich text, sophisticated fonts, and color choices.  Hover over annotations for authorship indication.

New for Administrators Roles, Policies, and Preferences  Improved Account administration for management of user recordings.  Audio and Video Policies include telephone conferencing and computer audio settings.  Enable Personal Recordings for Presenters and Attendees.  Approve Handout file types – downloadable from the meeting client and/or registration communications.

New for Administrators Expiration, Storage and Restoration New Storage management tools allow for search and removal of content.  Meetings and Recordings have their own distinct expiration settings.  Items in Storage will be permanently deleted after expiration and cannot be recovered. Restoration of Deleted Meetings or Recordings  Delete meetings and recordings for the entire account.  Restore deleted or expired meetings and recordings within 90 days.
