3 TEN TIPS FOR FACILITATORS FOR EFFECTIVE TDM MEETINGS Handout Start on time. 2.Have the right people invited/ attending. 3.Be sure that everyone understands the meeting’s purpose. 4.Adhere to timeframes AND take whatever time is needed to make a quality decision. 5.Conduct the group’s business in front of the group. 6.Deal with interpersonal business. 7.List strengths, concerns and/or ideas. 8.Check regularly on the group’s process. 9.Can the group reach a consensus decision? 10.Review the decision and action plan with the group.
