What Is A Dynamo?  A Dynamo is also called an Electric Generator.  It comes from the Greek word dynamis, which means power.  The Dynamo was the first Electrical Generator capable of transfering power for Industry.

What Does A Dynamo Do? MMakes DC (Direct Current) with a commutator. AA Dynamo transfers Kinetic Energy to Electric Energy.

How Does A Dynamo Produce Electricity?  Rotation, Magnet, and a Conductor, makes electric Energy. The dynamo uses a rotating wheel that moves the coils of copper wire and magnetic fields to convert mechanical rotation into a direct electrical current.

Types of Dynamos  Fraday’s Disk  Jedlik Dynamo  Pixii Dynamo  Pacinotti Dynamo  Siemens and Wheatstone Dynamo  Gramme Ring Dynamo  Brush Dynamo
