CSS-SM Refactoring Proposal Scope –Allow inclusion of services or modifications to existing ones without having to reedit the entire CSS-SM book. Objectives –Only alter the Configuration Profile Service and the Service Agreement Service by inclusions of plug-in points, Service Package Service and Trajectory Service are unchanged. –Split Blue-1 in three : CSS-SM Core Book CSS-SM 401 Telemetry Service Book CSS-SM 401 Command Service Book –Additional service books will be added later on. E.g. 401 Ranging Service Book –Only XML Schemas related to Configuration Profile Service and Service Agreement Service are modified. XML messages which are Blue-1 valid are Blue-2 valid : this implies a Blue-1 UM can communicate with a Blue-2 CM without any changes.
