House Price Index System FYP-I Presentation

What is House Price Index System? Web-based application that measures the price changes of residential properties. These indices are indicators of the current state of the housing market.

Why HPI ? No platform available in Pakistan that provides information about property’s worth based on price movements in the region. To buy or sell property people have to go through different estate agents They mostly end up buying at high prices and selling at the wrong time.

How it works? Estimates the current value of a residential property on the basis of different factors that affect the value of a house over a certain period of time. The user can find the percentage change in the value of the property they own.

FUNCTIONALITY INCLUDED

Percentage Change in Property Prices. Show the percentage change in price within a certain interval of time. Comparison of the prices at which user purchased and is about to sell the property.

Google Map Integration A map would be provided so that people can visualize the trends of housing market in different regions.

Trend Analysis When user selects a particular region on the map change will be shown on 1. Monthly basis 2. Quarterly basis 3. Annual basis
