Rules for Bargain Shopping

Overview of Course The purpose of this course is to learn the rules of how to shop for bargains. You will learn four rules that will help you when buy or create gift items at a reasonable price. You will learn places where you can find the greatest bargains.

Why should you look for Bargains? “Stretch the dollar” The way we spend our money is affected by the following factors: FactorReason Income from workEconomy, layoffs, employment Increase in cost of livingPrice of gas, medical, school, etc. Shop SmarterBuy quality items or gifts at a reasonable price.

Why Do I Need to Look for Bargains Cont.? SAVE MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! –The money you save can be used to purchase other things or for recreational activities.

Rule #1 Be Creative and Learn How to Do Crafts ~Think of things you can create or design at home before going out and buying it. Some examples are: Jewelry Picture Frames Flower Wreaths or Baskets Soap Candles - You can get craft ideas and other designs by visiting your local Michael’s store or their website.

Rule #2 Always Shop at Discount Stores ROSS Big Lots Marshalls Goodwill/Thrift stores Dollar Tree Outlet Stores
