11 National Research Council Mapping Science Committee (MSC) FGDC participated in the August 6 th MSC meeting MSC is evaluating the future of the NSDI These activities should be coordinated with the NGAC activities Recommend inviting Dr. Keith Clarke, Chair of MSC, to attend the NGAC meeting in December.

Effective place-based policies can influence how rural and metropolitan areas develop, how well they function as places to live, work, operate a business, preserve heritage, and more.
