* Kansas is made up of farmland, flat grasslands, prairies, and some cities * Its natural resources include, oil, natural gas, helium, gypsum, and salt * Its industry and farming include, cattle, wheat, soybeans, hogs, corn

* Joan Finney was the first female governor of Kansas she was also the oldest * Marilyn Monroe was the star of the movie “Some Like it Hot”

* Clyde Tombaugh discovered the planet Pluto. * Dwight D. Eisenhower was the first native of Kansas to be elected President of the United States. * Thurgood Marshall won his case Brown vs Board of Education of Topeka.
