16 Respond to the Verses! The (faithful) slaves of the Beneficent are they who … وَالَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِّرُوا بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ لَمْ يَخِرُّوا عَلَيْهَا صُمًّا وَعُمْيَانًا And they who, when reminded of the communications of their Lord, do not fall down thereat deaf and blind. [25:73].

17 To be Beloved Slaves of Rahmaan.. Make sure to understand the verses and take them to heart while you listen or read. So Many of us read these verses like a ‘blind’ person, i.e., read it with eyes but don’t take it to the heart. They listen to them like a ‘deaf’ person! Years pass by and they remain the same! That is even worse!

18 If we fail to plan, we plan to fail. If we fail to plan to spend time for understanding Qur’an, we plan to remain, in a sense, ‘deaf’ and ‘blind’ for the rest of our lives! How can we respond to the verses if we don’t understand them. So, please plan for the 200 hours as soon as possible in which you can learn to understand the complete Qur’an.
