A Change is Going to Come… Change #1: Reduction in Force (RIF)  Elimination of the Average Daily Attendance Division (ADA)  Duties transferred to Performance Audit Division

A Change is Going to Come… Change #2: New Auditors in your District  3 auditors from the former ADA Division  3 to 4 auditors from Performance Division (assisting only)

A Change is Going to Come… Change #3: Audit Cycle  Every school district within 2 years  Every school within 6 years

A Change is Going to Come… Change #4: Complaint process  Uniformity and consistency of resolution  address established  Resolution distributions

A Change is Going to Come… Change #5: Reporting  All reports will be sent to the State Board of Education  All reports will be posted to OSA website 

A Change is Going to Come… Some things will remain the same…  Reporting  Opportunity to respond to audit findings  Response will be sent with report to MDE  Annual Comprehensive overview to MDE and Education Committees of House and Senate  Year one report will be completed in December 2008, all future reports will be completed in October
