The Law of Communication

Communication Learner Teacher

You must teach truths visually and verbally in terms that are common to the learner. Law of Communication

Communication is not what teachers say......but what learners understand

Prepare well! Know your: Introduction Main points Conclusion and applications Prepare and organize your visuals Preparation is the best insurance you can have for good communication

Feedback Encourage involvement and feedback from your students so that you can see how they are understanding you.

Build Relationship Build relationships with your students to better know their needs and interests. Build your credibility with them.

 Memorize this law.  Make a simple glossary for 3-5 key terms/concepts that you are teaching.  List the words  Give a simple definition  List helpful synonyms  Write one sentence using the word  Visualize each of the terms in your glossary.  Study for the quiz.
