Aiea High Food to Soil Action Plan 1. Separate food, liquids, and paper trays at meal times. 2. Transport all collected material to the composting area behind D-1 3. Processing teams(5-8) people will add collected materials to existing composting bed and/or build new ones
Aiea High Food to Soil Action Plan 4. Add water daily to the composting beds to ensure optimal moisture levels (50-60%) 5. Record compost beds’ temperatures daily 6. Compost beds may be harvested after they have maintained sterilization temperatures consecutively for 3 days and an equalization period of seven days

Our Recycling process
All class from grades K-5 came out to help recycle food waste and paper.
Paper Recycling Drive About 800 pounds of paper got recycled into our compost.
