WHAT IS A SUBJUNCTIVE MOOD? It is a verb form used to express a wish, suggestion, or a desire. It isn’t used that much in the English language anymore since many people use “could” or “would” in place of a subjunctive mood. It is a verb form used to express a wish, suggestion, or a desire.
