The students will describe the social changes caused by WWI by identifying the impact of total war on the country. Announcement: Chapter 11 Test Friday Review/Getting back into the game: Examine the picture and caption on page 413 and answer the following question 1. Why do you think immigrants were forced to register with the authorities during World War I?

Attacks on Civil Liberties Read the quote in purple and answer the following question: 1. Why does President Wilson have concerns about entering World War I?
