BORROWING FROM THE LIBRARY

How do you do this? The library has many things to help your studies & for fun. You can take them home, or borrow them.

Always use your ID card, not a friend’s. Take your ID card & what you want to borrow to the library desk.

Library staff will scan your ID & the ID# of the book or DVD. You will get a little paper called a receipt. It tells you when to return the item. Please return things on time. Another student might need them.

Students can borrow up to 10 things at one time. You can borrow only 2 DVDs at one time.

You can borrow books for 14 days. You can borrow DVDs for 3 days.

“To renew” something means to borrow it again. You can renew a book for another 14 days & a DVD for another 3 days. If you are not finished with the book or DVD, you can renew it.

If you do not return something on time, you will get an message. Again, please return library items on time.

What if your little brother destroys it? What if you lose a book you borrowed from the library? What if your goat eats it?

Usually, a book costs 200 dirhams. You are responsible for replacing lost or damaged items. A Graded Reader costs 30 dirhams. A DVD costs 90 dirhams.

Please be careful with library items. Do not lose them. Do not damage them. Please do not write in books.

Please help take care of things in the library. Ask the friendly library staff if you have any questions.

HAPPY READING ! Thank you for listening.
