Page 6  Year: Freshman  Major: Mechanical Engineering  Learned: How to work with a team as well as finding different ways to solve a problem.

Page 7  Future: Staying a mechanical engineering major; take more electrical engineering courses to facilitate my interest in Robotics.  UF Plans and Goals:  Graduate  Get involved with the Robotics programs on campus  Continue volunteering with high-school Robotics teams.  Get involved with research

Page 8  Career Plans: Internship with the Naval Air Station in Jacksonville this Summer and I hope that it helps me decide which fields I enjoy and which ones I do not

Page 9  Words of Wisdom: Hard work is more important than intelligence. There are plenty of smart people in the world, people are born that way. Not enough people develop a strong work ethic, which is what we need in industry.

Page 10  Year: Freshman  Major: Electrical Engineering  Learned: Certain types of devices in circuits need to be placed in a proper way or else they can potentially explode.

Page 11  Future: This course has confirmed that I want to pursue a degree in electrical engineering.  UF Plans and Goals: I plan to get my degree at UF  Career Plans: I am not exactly sure about my career plans though I want to be in the electrical engineering field.

Page 12  Words of Wisdom: Look both ways before you cross a street.

Page 13 Lucky (the robot) is trying to get away from his owner Murphy (us!). As his last resort, he runs into the dark dead forest in order to find a place to hide. While he makes his way through the forest, he notices a den where Murphy can not see him from above. So, Lucky navigates hastily to the den while trying not to hit any trees (wooden blocks) along the way. When he makes it to the den, he lets out a sound of triumph. Lucky is finally safe from Murphy! … For now.

Page 14  This course has been a lot of fun! We are going to miss it. We loved playing with the robots to learn how they work, instead of just reading it off of some textbook.  For future students:  Don’t be afraid to try something new  Have a good work ethic  Look both ways before crossing a street
